RECYCLED BOTTLE GREENHOUSE PROJECT
Knightswood Primary School are looking forward to a fantastic day on Wednesday 28th May 2008. The Primary 6 children will be building a greenhouse for the school garden. This isn’t any old run-of-the-mill greenhouse. It’s made of recycled plastic bottles – 1,500 of them!
We are very lucky that Abbey, the building society with offices in St Vincent Street, are sending in a team of volunteers to help us complete the greenhouse in one day. They are also making a generous financial donation to cover the cost of materials.
The Glasgow City Council recycling centre at Dawsholm are helping us to collect the plastic bottles.
